about

Madame Moustache is the B-side to my debut single (also available on extremely limited edition 45rpm vinyl) "I Wish You Hell" - a song based on the true story of one "Eleanore Dumont" - a little-known Wild Western legend otherwise known as "Madame Moustache"….

The A side, "I Wish You Hell" is part of the official soundtrack for forthcoming Western movie "The Price Of Death" by Danny Garcia….

Both tracks are unique versions of songs included on "Killing Fever", my debut album featuring 12 unique outlaw/revenge based tales..

lyrics

LYRICS:
Well, did you hear about Madame Moustache, gambling queen of the frontier?
She'd rule a game of 21 and knock back kegs of beer.
She'd lift her skirts and kick on high and never wear a frown,
There was only one Madame Moustache, gambling queen of all her town..
The townsfolk loved their gambling queen, she'd be outdone by none,
The men they'd come in droves they'd ride for miles to have her fun.
She'd empty all their pockets, there ain't no man gonna leave with none,
But her first Love, a double-barrelled gun..
So I'll tell you about Madame Moustache gambling queen of the frontier,
She'd lift her skirts and kick on high and knock back kegs of beer.
A frontier's man rode in one day and stole her heart away,
They bought some land and settled down much to the town's dismay.
Now one day Madame Moustache woke to find her Love was gone,
The gold, her jewels, the coffers bare - he'd took the whole damn tonne.
So up jumped Madame Moustache, grabbed her double-barrelled gun,
She tracked him down and shot him dead to pay for what he'd done.
The townsfolk loved their gambling queen so nowt was said by none,
The men they'd raise a glass and cry "we don't know what she done?!!"
Theres no crossing that Madame Moustache there ain't no man gonna leave with none, for her first Love, that double-barrelled gun.
So if you think you'll cross a woman scorned I suggest you settle on down,
Come across a Madame Moustache, boy and you'll get yourself shot down….
